Lukashenko promises to visit Vietnam

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – I promise I will make a visit to Vietnam, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said following his talks with General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam in Minsk on 12 May, BelTA learned.

The Belarusian head of state thanked for the invitation to visit Vietnam.

"I promise that we will meet with you in your homeland in the near future. We will be able to launch today's agreements and arrangements in some respects. I think we will be able to work out more fundamental specific agreements and sign them in the capital of your country," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

He once again thanked To Lam for his visit to Belarus. "It was very important for us. Most importantly, it was timely," the president emphasized.
